Buy a pumpkin -- help a student
All proceeds benefit the literary centers of South Bethel Synod in Ethiopia
Each year, our church joins with the other churches in Washington Presbytery to provide money to help the literacy centers in Ethiopia to teach people of all ages how to read and write in their own language as well as learning the English language which students need to know in order to get beyond the sixth grade.
Pumpkins will be available in the rear of the Sanctuary during the month of October.
If you would like to make a monetary donation directly to the program, please write a check to FPC with "Pumpkin Sale" in the memo line.
In a recent year, the Pumpkin Sale at FPC 1793 raised $500 for the Literary Program in Ethiopia.
